JD&E has always had a strong commitment to safety, which is reflected by our EMR, and by our acceptable grade status on ISNetworld (ISNetworld #400-189554) and Veriforce OQ.  Our Safety Director, Jon Lewis, is an OSHA 500 and Drug Free Workplace (DFWP) Certified instructor.  All superintendents maintain OSHA-30 certification, while all employees maintain OSHA-10 certification.  The ability to train in-house mitigates constraints other contractors have with scheduling these required training and refresher courses, which puts JD&E at an advantage.  Jon performs annual DFWP training for JD&E, and even for some of our subcontractors.  JD&E also enforces certified riggers, crane signalmen, and AWS welding certifications to applicable craftsmen.  At JD&E, we believe you can never provide too much training in safe work procedures!
